Last month, Amberside Advisors got together in Hemel Hempstead for an insightful half day offsite to reflect on the current business position and refocus, gearing up for driving growth throughout the rest of the year.
With the team spread across multiple offices, opportunities to gather in person are rare for Amberside Advisors, so everyone made the most of this special occasion. With lots of new faces (welcome again to our new graduates!) and fantastic energy in the room, it was great to hear lots of insightful presentations. The whole team left the day feeling inspired and keen to carry on the enthusiasm, and continue exploring further opportunities, as we head into the next quarter.
We gathered at the Box Moor Trust Centre, a local charity venue, where the team made the most of the beautiful surroundings with lunchtime walks, before diving into a busy schedule of inspiring sessions.
Our offsite event featured presentations showcasing our key achievements, discussing major business opportunities and challenges, and presenting feedback from our most valued clients. Alongside this, we’ve seen updates on our key sectors, including our growing Energy Transition practice, as well as insights from our senior managers on our leading services, explaining intricacies of financial modelling, audits and data analytics. We have also been given a preview of the brand refresh with the upcoming new look of Amberside Advisors and discussed our ways of working, to better service our clients and achieve our objectives more efficiently. The day ended with a highlights video showcasing our key achievements over the past year, celebrating our main business successes, sports accomplishments and personal milestones across the team.
The whole team thoroughly enjoyed the event and their time together, continuing the informal part late into the evening in a local pub, reflecting on the day and discussing future plans.
