We are delighted to welcome Faizan Anwar Nomani, who has recently joined Amberside Advisors on a full time Consultant position, having successfully completed his 6 months internship with us.
Prior to joining Amberside Advisors, Faizan worked in a multidisciplinary role combining duties of a civil engineer and a consultant within the infrastructure sector. He really enjoyed working on large scale infrastructure projects, such as building an underwater highway tunnel and a citywide waste-to-energy plant, while also contributing value from consulting perspective, tackling cost and time overruns, by developing an infrastructure project evaluation system. These experiences furthered his passion for the industry and sparked a deeper interest in addressing the critical challenge of financing the infrastructure needed for a sustainable future.
During his internship at Amberside Advisors, Faizan worked alongside our Commercial Advisory team helping them further solidify our Energy Transition proposition, supporting the team with research into healthcare, new mobility and energy sectors. Going forward, building on those valuable experiences, Faizan will move to one of our core teams and will focus on mastering his financial modelling skills, applying them across variety of sectors, including infrastructure, renewables and energy transition.
Faizan has recently completed Master’s Degree in Infrastructure Investment & Finance at University College London, following his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Hong Kong. His goal is to build a multidisciplinary skillset within the infrastructure sector, which is why he’s also working toward earning both engineering and finance charterships.
“I’m delighted to become a part of Amberside Advisors! The team fosters a dynamic entrepreneurial culture, where everyone is empowered to contribute to impactful projects from day one. My journey with Amberside Advisors began as an intern, and it was an incredible opportunity for me to dive into the latest trends and developments in the infrastructure and energy transition sectors. The support and guidance from the senior team have been invaluable, making it an ideal place to grow both personally and professionally.” commented Faizan, upon starting his new role.
We are very excited to have Faizan onboard and we wish him the best of luck in his new full time role.
