Amberside Advisors were appointed to provide a due diligence review for Lewisham Gateway, resulting in an energy supplier company (ESCO) procurement exercise and transaction support. The chosen ESCO was then to operate and maintain the plant to generate, distribute and supply heat (and electricity if applicable) to relevant supply points, providing energy to the whole estate and its residents.
As part of this project Amberside have:
Produced tender documents describing the opportunity and bid requirements, compliant with any relevant Get Living processes.
Conducted soft market testing with potential ESCO companies to judge level of interest and sculpt the tender and terms of engagement.
Produced commercial Heads of Terms for bidders to accept and price accordingly as part of bid.
Appraised bids by using a solid set of scoring criteria, conducted dialogue sessions with Get Living, and provided bidder selection recommendations.
Amberside Advisors are currently supporting Get Living with post-preferred bidder stage, with negotiation of full contracts (energy services and supply agreements) and providing commercial instructions to lawyers for drafting. Once this phase is complete, we will hand over to the selected bidder and support them in commencing their operation.
