Thinking of joining Amberside?
Our culture
Be part of a great team. In our annual survey this year, 96% of our people agreed that we are a collaborative place to work. We know that by working together, we can achieve great things.
We want people to progress their careers in a friendly and supportive environment, whether you are a Graduate on your personalised training programme, or an experienced hire. We encourage our employees to take advantage of our internal opportunities to progress their professional development and to have a fulfilling career.
We create a positive and productive work environment. We regularly host activities after work, from badminton, bouldering, and movie nights, and everyone is welcome to join in.
Webb Hu, one of our recent joiners, said “Going bouldering after work gives me a great chance to unwind and socialise with my colleagues in a much more relaxed environment. I really enjoy comparing our approaches to different courses and sharing tips.”
We also offer a lunch once a week to allow our colleagues a chance to get together and share ideas and catch up.

Aadi Shahare
"Amberside Advisors stands out for its unique approach to professional development, where new joiners are entrusted with significant responsibility early on. Working on a wide range of projects has expanded my understanding of the industry, sharpened my problem-solving skills and (most importantly) honed my financial modelling skills"
My back story
I’m Aadi, and I joined the Amberside team in September 2022 after studying economics at Warwick. During that time, I gained valuable experience through an internship at a machine learning firm as well as consulting on several start-ups, allowing me to further my skills in data analysis and critical thinking. Outside of work, I am a keen hockey player, having played for over a decade. I also enjoy exploring new destinations, diving into an interesting books and playing frisbee with friends.
Time at Amberside
I have been a part of Amberside for 9 months now and I have been lucky enough to work on a enormously diverse range of projects in my short time here. From waste management projects like NLWA to solar, wind and infrastructure projects, I have learnt from and contributed to a fantastic range of projects across various different sectors.
What it’s like at Amberside
My journey at Amberside Advisors has been a transformative experience, both personally and professionally. The opportunity to work on a huge range of diverse projects, coupled with the early responsibility given to new joiners, has allowed me to grow and excel (no pun intended) in my role. Amberside’s supportive culture, commitment to excellence, and emphasis on personal and professional development make it an exceptional place to work. I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given and look forward to continuing my growth and making a positive impact in the future
Mariana Branco Pinho
“I find working at Amberside to be incredibly gratifying; the culmination of a supportive and friendly team, engaging work, and the sense of purpose derived from playing a part in projects with a positive societal and environmental impact.”
My back story
I joined Amberside in November 2022 after graduating with a BSc in Management with Finance from Warwick Business School. During my time at university, I developed a keen interest in finance and was eager to see such knowledge translated into practice. Joining Amberside has allowed me to do just that, whilst giving me the opportunity to immerse myself in world of project finance, learn about a variety of sectors, and exponentially increase my knowledge of financial modelling.
Time at Amberside
Throughout the past 6 months, I have been fortunate to work on projects ranging from Renewables to Public Private Partnerships, and to perform a variety of tasks including auditing, assurance, and most importantly, modelling. This diversity, coupled with a sense of continuous learning, have allowed my time at Amberside to be equally challenging and intellectually stimulating!
What it’s like at Amberside
Nonetheless, I cannot dismiss the importance of the human factor at Amberside, which has been the highlight of my journey here. There is a true sense of belonging and early responsibility amongst the team, and the camaraderie and supporting culture have made me feel comfortable asking questions and learning from my senior colleague
